About me

Hello everyone, welcome to my world!

I come from Xuzhou, China. It is known for its role as a transportation hub. 8 million people are living in here.

Urbana and Champaign are the first two cities I visited in the U.S. I got a strong impression of the broad cornfields. I love the “Sweet Corn Festival” held annually in the local. I also remember there is a small bakery in Urbana downtown. Their fresh baked danish is the best I’ve ever tried.

I traveled to west and east coasts after obtaining the Master’s degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

I am currently a full-time Ph.D. student in economics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My life is full of joy because Knoxville has so many interesting aspects deserve to be explored. I like to go fishing along the Tennessee River, mushroom hunting in Ijams, and hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. Last but not the least, I enjoy countless sports events and have learned to sing “Rocky Top” at UT.
